First of all, Matse is a down to earth, God fearing and hard working woman who just wants the best for everyone around her. She enjoys laughing and an easy going life. Her exit from radio brought her back to her first love, Cooking. This gave birth to MatseCooks.com.

Matse Cooks is a Nigerian and African food blog with some western fusions. An expression of one of the many talents of the multiple award winning, Nigerian Media Personality, Matse Uwatse Nnoli. She leaves no stone unturned.

It intends to educate and interact with her followers on food and drinks from all around the black continent and all over the world. Matse Cooks is about sharing experiences through sight, sound, taste and touch from different cultures, destinations and locations. It also serves as a platform for sharing news, kitchen tips, interviews and breakthroughs in the art of cooking.


Matse Cooks also seeks to be recognised as Nigeria’s leading restaurant guide and yellow pages as well as a major promoter of the hospitality industry in general. It is to serve as a melting pot for food and drink enthusiasts and also an avenue to explore unmapped territories in the vast world of food culture, home and abroad.
